Yes, it is a little heavier but unless you are really old or lack strength it should be no problem. Sure, you will have to carry the bucket around, but I mean does it really matter? For the average homeowner I would say no, and if this is for commercial jobs I would still recommend it and also recommend you find a bucket with wheels that would work with this item. You will be able to put out a lot of water onto the floor and pick a lot of water up with your mop because you will be wringing it out so well. I use a two bucket system, one with clean water and one with the wringer that wrings it out. If you're considering buying this for that purpose - don't! It leaves the clothes way too wet. You still have to wring the clothes by hand.
