I only need glasses for reading, and I am a mammogram tech., these are light-weight, stay on my face even with bending etc in positioning patients, and the best part is that they are small lenses so I don’t have to take them off and on all day, I just look over them, unless needed for reading. Why do I buy them four at a time? Well, as I said they are very light, and I have a habit of hanging them from my collar opening on my shirt when I’m out and about, sometimes my seat belt will catch them and fling them when I remove it, or i bend over somewhere and they fall off my shirt, they are so light they really don’t make any noise when they hit the ground! I lost them in the bagged ice freezer at the gas station once, where they were found by the ice guy! I am happy to report that it’s been over a year since my last four and I still have all of them! The other thing, is that they are rimless, so when carrying them around on my shirt they sometimes get caught on things and the corners where the arms are attached may crack from the pulling and will eventually break. I hardly even know they are on. After I got ny first pair, I didn’t want to wear my old store-bought heavy glasses anymore.2 months later: I just bought three more! I still have the first pair and they still look brand new! I have been using readers for almost a decade. These by far are the best I have ever found! I use these glasses everyday and all day long. I have dropped them, slung them into the nightstand while half asleep and when not in use, I hang them onto the front if my shirt.Pros: very well made, durable tight hinges that spring shut and are strong enough to hang onto my collar when I am bent over working in the garden, seem to resist scratches well in spite ofmy clumsiness, very light weight in spite of being thick lenses (2.50 magnx), they ride nice and low and do not obstruct my long distance view while driving, don’t make me look old, very understated and flattering.Cons: the nose pads are placed too far apart and don’t rest on my nose. The bridge rests on my nose and causes a very small indent on my nose after wearing for long periods. I got the aqua color, and it's just as pictured. The lenses are distortion free, small (see measurements in description) and oval with smooth edges. I weighed them on my kitchen scale and they weigh 11 grams. The case is plastic, but has a nice finish and smooth inside. I've put the glasses inside the case and pulled them out about 20 times so far, and the lenses remain unscratched.
