It doesnt seem to keep things warmer longer than a standard coffee cup. Its durable so far (had mine for a few months and its survived a few knock overs). Its light weight. The lid is bamboo and a rubber/plastic seal. It sweats and smells kinda green or woody when the coffee steams it up. I dont use the lid much because the smell lingers and throws the taste of the coffee off a little. I wouldn't buy it again, but it's served my purpose, too. So its not a total loss of you choose to buy it. Had a Bodum before this one and it was much better, but it shattered after I hit it on the corner of my desk. $30 down the drain ### ⭐⭐ Not the same mug as before!! They came in a nice gift box and included a wooden lid.The one on the left was just sent to me. It is taller, has a narrow circumference, has a larger handle and holds 12oz. It came without a lid. It did come in its own box, but not a nice gift box like before.This is getting 2 stars because this is not the product I ordered or was planning on receiving. Amazon's notification window also stated this was the item I bought in the past. It is not. Honestly, this mug looks nice too, but I wanted all of my mugs to look the same. Hands keep cool and liquid stays hot. The size is just right when you want more than a little cup of tea or coffee. I would have wished for only one change -- that the product stickers weren't so difficult to remove. The stickers were on the outside of the mugs. I used "Goo Begone" but didn't touch it. I resorted to lighter fluid. That required 3 applications and then a thorough wash with dish soap.
