They don't have a zipper or Velcro enclosure. Instead, they use an overlapping envelope closure to secure the cover. It works well and is hidden when the "good" side of the cushion shows -- I believe you can reverse the cushion if you also reverse the overlapping envelope closure. There are ties at the bottom/back corners to secure it to a slatted chair.The fabric is a nubby terry-cloth that feels sturdy and looks as good as it feels. It returns to its original shape in use and doesn't leave a sag from sitting on it. There is little about them that indicates they are simply slipcovers. We have oversized seat cushions, however the stretch of the fabric enables them to accommodate curves while still fitting snuggly. For sizes, our semi-box edge back cushions are 7" thick and measure 28" wide by 20" high; the box-edge seat cushions are 5" thick and measure 23" wide by 28" deep. All-in-all, a very nice slipcover that looks very good on our patio chairs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Breathed New Life into our old set *by T***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2019* These were a perfect fit on our old set. I have uploaded a photo of the entire set covered and then a before and after photo of the same chair. I am so happy, at least on the visual aspect. The only negative I can give this, of which I am hoping was a fluke for me. My arm got very itchy trying to install these. Felt like it came from the material but in all fairness, I have extremely sensitive skin. However, family members used this after they were installed with no complaints. Much better value than if I had custom covers made. They are soft like a terry cloth robe & durable. The turquoise color is a bit deeper than pictured but a great shade.
