And now I do as well! My kids are Blackwingers too! Once you try a Blackwing you’ll never go back to ordinary pencils. Different pencil grades are great for a variety of projects. The perfect pencil! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glides like a dream *by J***. on January 19, 2024* I bought these after using the Blackwing 602s to write for several days, switching from a mechanical pencil, and before than, from a pen. With the 602s, even though the glide was sublime, I found myself turning to a sharper point a bit too often, so I wanted to try the extra firm graphite. That's available standard in the Blackwing Naturals. I found these instead, which are extra firm, and thought, "Why not?" Years ago I had toured the Bruce Lee exhibit at the Wing Luke museum in Seattle, and his notebooks (in pencil) left an indelible impression. These seemed to offer a way of subtle connection to his genius. These HBs are not as firm as I expected, but noticeably firmer than the 602s. I turn to a sharper point about 1/3rd as often, and I would say I go about 300 words longer before having to sharpen. Like the 602s, these glide like no other, and my handwriting comes crisply. Some will say, just a pencil. And so it is.
