I thought it would have been filled a bit more— more dense— but it’s definitely on the thinner side. The flap covers like half of the bed so the animal can only be under it if they’re on one half. My 13lb miniature dachshund hasn’t figured out the flap part yet but he still likes to lay in it!It had an interesting smell when I opened it but it was probably from the plastic film because once I fluffed it up in the dryer (no heat!!) it went away and was completely gone by like the next day.
