**Q: can this motor run continuously?**
A: Yes, as long as you keep the output below about 250W.

**Q: Hello, can you tell me the maximum amperage draw this motor can create? I want to by a DC speed controller for this unit. Thanks for your help :)**
A: The locked rotor current is around 275 amps at 24volts.  I would limit the current to 30 amps continuous and perhaps 75 amps peak as the leads are only 12AWG and heat would be a concern if used over 30 amps long term.

**Q: i will be installing this motor on a 12volt system. i would like to have an inline fuse, but need to no what amp fuse i should use?**
A: Hi, I didn't test yet but per my numbers a 15-20 Amps fuse should be fine.

**Q: What is the output shaft diameter, and can the motor be easily wired for variable speed (like with a rheostat)?**
A: The shaft is 1/2-inch diameter. Yes, the motor can run at variable speeds and reverse. An electronic motor speed controller is normally used for this rather than a rheostat.
