I use it in homemade bath salts and needed a true, bright red. I started with two small scoops (1/32 of a teaspoon) for 4 pounds of salt. It was still slightly pink, so I added two more. (See photos) That ended up being perfect! I’m aware that this much red will stain your skin, so I will be adding a warning label to this color moving forward, but it came right off with a bit of soap when I washed my hands. I also added a small amount of surfactant/ unscented bubble bath, to this batch to compensate for this and spread it out on a cookie sheet to dry overnight. The bag was much larger than I expected and will last a very long time. Great price for what I needed also.
