If you order from a US supplier it comes in a few days not weeks like some complain about; easy fix for the delay. I like it, having a weighted blanket is a game changer, but I would like to try other brands to see if they leak sand as well. It seems to have stopped leaking, but it certainly did leak some sand and now some pockets are empty, mainly on the edges. It is hot, but that is the nature of having sand and blankets are supposed to keep you warm, so I suppose it works well in that regard. I can't compare sand to other materials but it does mold well to your body and provides weight as advertised.
