Soon realised my old orbital sander wasn't gonna cut the mustard, so took the plunge and invested in this new belt sander. On receipt, initial thought was it was a bit weighty, but actually, having used it quite a bit now, I find it reassuringly sturdy. Comes with a good selection of different grades of belts, which are VERY easy to change, and the adjustable speed is very handy . Good long power cable too. All in all, an excellent sander. I am 63 and retired now, but this has inspired me to take on a few other little recycling projects like the planter, also pictured. I plan to check out what other of my tools have seen better days and see whether this company produce those as well.
