I researched a few other belt leashes, but this one was the best value. you can count on this to not break on your STRONG dog. I've walked 130+LB dogs with this on while they pull and it has not broken once. The bungie is made out of good material I can tell.TIP! there are metal rings on each handle part that you can clip to your waist to make the leash shorter! this is a huge help, so the dog doesn't get tangled in the leash.Only con is the part that goes around your waist folds on itself over time. If the band was made out of something more comfortable that would be great. They really aren't exaggerating when the product info states two bungees are better than one -- it really is. And this particular brand does have a thicker bungee elastic than other ones I have tried. I took off one star because the waist band is just ok and not particularly comfortable. I'm using a padded one I bought elsewhere instead. Despite the lackluster waist band, I highly recommend this bungee hands free leash.UPDATE: the bungee part has deteriorated over time and now there is no more elasticity to the leash. So I am disappointed that after a few months of use this leash is no longer good at all.
