**Q: Made in China?**
A: Most as I’m just learning (lil quick research) can say they are NZ wool BUT they may process n make the end products in China and who knows what chemicals or processing they’re using to clean the wool and what environment. I ALMOST went for the cheapest ones but like nutmilk bags, even “organic” ones are ordered from alibaba (they have Chinese connections), say products are organic but aren’t certified and will use pieces that aren’t organic and glued n synthetics...some ppl really care about the process, the planet and the chemicals and end products used. Things should be transparent but usually aren’t as most don’t know or knowingly scam ppl. Unfortunately China is pretty polluted and practices are questionable as well, not just to the environment but their own people as well and that’s why certifications help and it’s upto you if you still wanna go that route. 

But if u are trying to avoid chemicals and help the planet, it is a lil harder of trying to buy something you think is good (not you specifically but generally ppl), but then may not know or find out later that it’s not truly 100% what was expected like fully organic and environmentally friendly as much as possible. I have to keep searching myself apparently as well!! Good luck!

**Q: Just received these and they have a funny smell. Should I wash them before using them in the dryer?**
A: Mine didn’t have any funny smell, even if it does, use a little essential oil (one that doesn’t leave a stain) and then put them to use in the dryer. That’s what I did

**Q: Can dryer balls be used instead of tennis balls for drying comforters or down-filled items?**
A: Tennis balls work great!

**Q: Mine got dirty after my son put his muddy shoes in the dryer.  :(  Can tbey be washed?**
A: Yes, mine got stained over time due to the essential oils I was using on them so my husband threw them in the washing machine and then dryer them with laundry as usual. Hope this helps!

These dryer balls work really well and help cut down on drying time. They’re easy to use, well made, and I like that they’re a natural option with no added scent. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can’t imagine living without these!

Once I discovered these wool dryer balls I was initially very skeptical, but after using them since 2018, I can’t imagine doing laundry without them! The clothe and other laundry: - dries much faster - replaces liquid fabric softener, so saves money, chemicals, and storage space - replace dryer sheets, so saves money, chemicals, and storage space - reduces static - reduces chemical exposure to the skin of my whole family - reduces trash - and after I changed the heat setting to Low, the clothes have significantly less wrinkles, and it still takes less time to dry than before switching to the balls - huge money saver! I can’t imagine how much money, time, and effort having these dryer balls have saved me, but it’s significant! And it should be many years before I will need to replace them, so the benefits just continue to accrue. I still have a box of Costco/Kirklands dryer sheets that have got to be 5+ years old or older. As I write this, I’m asking myself why I still have those dryer sheets. Guess I’ll do some research on alternative uses for them before tossing them out, but they’re just taking up space in my laundry room.
