This mattress protector saved the use of my mattress..... and my daughters cat. I have been using this for about 18 months now. It has gotten more and more comfortable with time. It actually doesn't feel like I have anything extra on my bed anymore. I purchased this when my daughter's new kitten peed on my bed. I tried everything to clean the odor out of my mattress, to no avail. I wasn't prepared to replace my $2000 mattress, but would have if a solution couldn't be found. I gave this protector a shot, and to my surprise, I could not smell the urine through the mattress protector! I wish I would have had one on my bed all along, but I did not realize how comfortable they can be! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ...right on point with price to quality *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2018* I can tell this will not stand up to more than maybe once a month washings.... however it should last probably a year maybe 2 before I'll choose to replace it. Since I have intensive allergies and asthma I really don't plan to keep the same one over a year or two. I'd say this is what I was looking for. First night of use and the sheets stayed over it all kept in place well. No looseness or slipping.
