They are cut-to-fit for 100 and 200-series Fluval canisters and, as expected, they dropped right into my 106. They aren't as thick as the Fluval filters however, but you can cram about 3 of them into a single basket if you want. My preference is 2 pads and a bag of Purigen. Some people have mentioned that they don't fill out the curved corners of their basket but mine seem okay. Down to business though; they definitely, positively work well enough. I pulled mine out after about 10 days and they were visibly catching small gunky particles. They might not be perfect, but they're 'good enough', I'd say. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best bang for you buck - equivient to OEM Fluval and appears to a better job than OEM in filtering out the very fine particles. *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2018* Identical in size/shape and material to the Fluval OEM pads but appear to do a better job (denser floss maybe??). Tight fit so you get no water bypass. They are durable enough to be rinsed with residual tank water from a water change or from water from the filter as that can reused a couple of times. However these are cheap enough to simply just replace since any filter media become less effective with use.I recommend using 2 pads. When replacing, I discard the upper one (the dirtier of the two), move the lower one to the top and place a new rinsed pad below it every 3-4 weeks (on top down filter system).-- As with any new filter media, always rinse before use - tap was is ok for new media.-- Never clean an old pad that you plan to reuse with tap water, rinse with tank water in a clean container to prevent tap water from killing the beneficial bacterial otherwise you may get ammonia/nitrite/nitrate spikes that could harm your fish. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Might work in a pinch *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2019* So just got these today and right out of the packaging I can tell they are different from the filter floss from fluval. Like many other reviews say, these don’t exactly fit all the way from wall to wall inside the baskets of the 206. There is a bit of a gap between the pad and the wall as seen in the pictures. Also the thickness compared to the fluval brand is not as thick.
