You definitely have to have a dark room to enjoy the picture. Easy to set up and control. Speaker works fine if you are playing video games. Hook it up to a sound bar and you will gain the full experience with movies and games. Family movie night, outdoor parties and gaming will be part of our enjoyments in the new year. You cant go wrong with this projector as your first one.
