I'm looking for under 0.2mm.** A: You can get a really fine line with the very tip but it's a brush pen so it really depends on how you use it and may be difficult to maintain a super fine line across a stroke. I can recommend steadtler pigment liners for a consistently fine line though. **Q: Hey! Would this smudge if used with alcohol markers?** A: Hi... I just tried it and no it did not smudge at all. These pens are the best I have found for cartoon/comic inking. **Q: The hard tip seems a bit dry, the ink isn't going down as well as the other. Is there a way to improve this?** A: Not experienced this problem sorry . But you could try briefly dipping the tip in warm water . Also you might consider keeping it tip down in a pen pot to ensure the ink is at the tip end . Ink seems to last forever! ### ā­ā­ā­ā­ Nice Japanese Pens for Brush Style Calligraphy *by L***Y on 4 April 2019* These are nice Pens for Brush Style Calligraphy. I was not sure when I got them if they would be like the chisel nib calligraphy pens, I have had before, they are not. They are brush style, so the nib is flexible and a little hard to control. There is one Soft pen (black plastic body) and one hard nib pen (blue plastic body). The soft pen has more movement and is slightly harder to control but good for fluid strokes. The hard brush is better for small handwriting and lettering. These pens are good for sketching (Japanese inking style) and well as handwriting or lettering. They are good value for the money. I have found that any tombow product is generally very good in terms of performance and quality.
