Review: A big tub of whey isolate protein for a great price. - People do like bashing this protein, I just don't get the hate. I last bought this in 2022 and it was very grainy although it did'nt bother me. I have now bought again in 2026 and its a much finer powder and a more pale colour (chocolate flavour) than before. Assuming its isolate, its great value and mixes fine, the taste is okay, but I drink it so fast I barely notice. If you want a milkshake go buy a milkshake. A big tub of whey protein for a good price, what's not to like?

People do like bashing this protein, I just don't get the hate. I last bought this in 2022 and it was very grainy although it did'nt bother me. I have now bought again in 2026 and its a much finer powder and a more pale colour (chocolate flavour) than before. Assuming its isolate, its great value and mixes fine, the taste is okay, but I drink it so fast I barely notice. If you want a milkshake go buy a milkshake. A big tub of whey protein for a good price, what's not to like?

First off, I'm going to say: the bucket, when opened, smells like dog food. Thankfully, the protein doesn't taste like it. This is not the best protein powder I've had nor is it the worst. Decent taste, but has issues with mixing in water and there's always a bit of residue left. Overall, if you don't mind the smell, it's great value for money. Will be buying again.
