This is narrower than the chuck (& NOT TAPERED) If it isn't narrower clamp won't hold it securely. My cordless drill won't work because, there is no GRIP AREA gap. The clamp won't hold on a tapered shape either, like most cordless, keyless chuck drills have. Generally WITH FEW EXCEPTIONS cordless won't work. So look carefully at pictures on Amazon. Good luck & hope this helps. **Q: Is this useable with keyless chuck cordless drill?** A: It can be if the drill has a collar for a handle behind the chuck like some very few combi drills have - like this Makita DLX2145TJ. **Q: Do dewalt drills (specifically the dewalt d024k) fit this thing?** A: Difficult to say but you do need a drill with a handle that clamps around the body, just behind the chuck. My Bosch cordless didn't fit so I bought a very cheap drill that had such a collar. **Q: broke handle can you buy replacement parts** A: Not as far as I know. Suggest try repairing handle yourself, finding a bolt with same thread securely fix some padding on. If bought recently try a warranty claim sometimes that works.
