I have got binoculars, but my eyesight is very different in my two eyes, and it takes a while to focus properly with binoculars, so thought this would solve the problem, as only one eye is used, so easy to focus.This comes in a box, and inside a case with the monocular in. There are no lens covers on the unit which is a shame. Focusing is simple, just turn the large dial at the back for sharpening the image. There is also a smaller dial at the front, which to me seems to to exactly the same.The one at the back will need another hand to turn, but the front one can just about be turned one handed. I have found that I can focus quicker with this than binoculars, it is smaller to carry and lighter.I really like this product, and for the price paid, think it is a good value item. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the money not bad at all *by T***8 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 25 October 2016* For the money not bad at all. I'm not into heavy weight spotting so these are just fine, relatively clear and easy to use.I would buy again...although the build quality is not 100% on mine. I noticed the focus ring was slightly mis-shaped. But for the money good enough, if I wanted 100% it would have cost 100X more.This would suit kids, holidays and sports events...cheap as chips so if you left it on the beach. ### ⭐⭐ Misleading and Disappointing *by J***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 4 September 2016* Well this isn't 16x - more like 8x when I compare with other binoculars I have and it isn't 52mm objective, it's 40mm. The resolution was poor and I could only get about the middle 3rd to focus at any one time. The brightness, when compared to looking through one eye of a Nikon binocular, was similar to a 25mm objective at 8x, so there was either some stopping down or poor prism / coatings, or both. There was one focusing ring that was a coarse one and a smaller one that was a fine focus, which was good but to get to both ends of the focusing range you had to move them both.I know this is very cheap and I shouldn't complain, but for me it wasn't good enough.
