**Q: Anyone knows where it is made? Tks!**
A: It doesn't say on the object where it is made but it is designed in Italy and it is very well made.  I had mine for many years and it looks like new.

**Q: How heavy a purse can it hold?**
A: It can easily hold a big, full handbag. I use medium to big purses and never had an issue with the holder not being able to take the weight.

**Q: Does this really stay balanced? It looks like it would slide off surfaces fairly easily.**
A: It is very cute and sturdy, but mine has slid off a few table tops!  There can be no downward slope if it is going to stay on.  Worth a try, though.
