Review: Lodge lasts forever, but don't put too much trust in 'pre-seasoned' - My first batch of muffins with these pans came out perfect in terms of baking, but stuck like crazy despite oiling each cup with ghee right before puting in the batter. That said, clean up is easy if it sticks; just soak them for about 15 minutes filled with water, then after removing stuck material with a regular scrubby sponge or spoon, take a stainless scrubbie and whisk out the rest. I don't use soap, even though Lodge says you can. Needless to say, I've now seasoned them myself in the oven and hopefully the 2nd batch will not stick. I have a lot of cast iron so I'm used to it normally taking some time for the seasoning to build up

My first batch of muffins with these pans came out perfect in terms of baking, but stuck like crazy despite oiling each cup with ghee right before puting in the batter. These were exceedingly well crafted. I replaced an old peeling Teflon piece of garbage with these. Great idea. THE only downside is their weight. Frankly these are more non-stick than my Teflon pan ever was anyway.
