If so, what size?** A: Yes, these are able to be used with 3M Command Strips, but the base of the clip is slightly smaller than the Command Strip so there will be some adhesive showing. The 3M Command Strip we recommend would be the 3M Command Small Refill Strips, which have a size of 1 1/8 X 5/8 Inches, the bases of our clips are 1 1/10 X 1/2 Inch. Horrible product. Will not last for long no matter what you stick it to or what kind of cord you're using. **Q: Can these fit around cable a little bigger than coaxial cable... Like a fat surge protector cord?** A: I wouldn't suggest it. Get te larger screws in clips. These were a tight fit around my coaxial and then the adhesive did not hold. I realised I would need to bring power to the area so I could plug in the WiFi router.I came straight to Amazon and found a 10m extension cable, but needed a solution on how to guide the thick cable round a door in the hallway. Ideally I didn't want to use nails, as it is a rented property, so when I found these, they seemed perfect.It all comes in a nice little box. You first have to peel the 3m pads off the sheet and stick them to the base of the clips. This is easy. But pealing the red paper away from the bottom of the pads was more tricky. I found the best way to do it was using a Stanley knife, to get underneath and peal it back. After I did this a few times, I soon got used to it, and it wasn't so bad from then on. Then I just simply put the clips on the wire and stuck them down, starting from the skirting board underneath the power outlet, and working my way around the door frame and back down.I'm extremely pleased with the end result.
