Will keep my cough away for twenty minutes or so. These will actually keep me at bay (for a while) from using my rescue inhaler. I can take one when I'm having a coughing fit, and it quiets it right down. The downside is that it doesn't last, and you have to keep taking them. The ones I received were very fresh and soft. I suggest putting them in a freezer bag, and keep them in the freezer.
