One thing I'd say... the lid has two ways to stick down. The first is with the side handles which sort of clip over the top of it, holding it down. The second is some little lugs which clip over the bottom of the rim of the base. Those little lugs are nigh on impossible to fully clip down though. Thankfully, the simpler side handles seem to be more than adequate. Note also there's no way to 'lock' the box, even against an opportunist prankster/family member. All in all though, nice and big, easy to use, very much water proof against the inevitable rain we've had for the last few days. Review: Great sturdy box - Brought for all the Christmas lights, plenty of room for a four plug extension lead and all the plugs/adapters. Really sturdy box with a clip down lid, kept everything dry. Will come in handy for the garden in the summer. Pleased with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ lid collects rainwater but inside is bone dry *by S***R on 4 January 2026* Excellent and waterproof box for outside electrical connections, Features removable rubber inserts on cable entries to accommodate different sizes of cables. Lid clips are tough and sturdy.
