The individual compartments are tight and secure and the external cover has a very secure fastening so no chance of meds spilling out. I am not very impressed by the design or usefulness of this product for me. At the same time I purchased a Meta-U 4 Compartment Weekly plastic pills dispenser boxes - which I find more suitable for both home use as well as when travelling, just taking the requisite number of daily boxes with me.The magnetic box seems quite fiddly to me, particularly opening the compartment lids, definitely a two handed job. The box has seven compartments of varying sizes, with translucent lids. I have to take a variety of pills and capsules four times a day and like to split them into the required mix for each time I take them, so for me this item would be good for 1.75 days only. Other people having different requirements may well find this magnetic box more useful. For example I could see a use for it if you want to carry up to seven types of pill, and mark the compartment lids accordingly.
