Review: Great Steam Cleaner if you are Tight :-) - I bought this handheld steam cleaner because, to be honest, I am too tight to buy a full size one and I have lived for most of my life without one, so couldn't justify spending the money, BUT am fed up with the grout being so filthy on my cream floor tiles. I was very sceptical, i'm hard to please with gadgets. I only got it yesterday and it was extremely easy to set up and use. On some of the reviews it says that because you have to hold the trigger down to operate the steam, you wouldn't be able to use it for longer than 10 minutes because your finger would ache. It doesn't last 10 minutes without needing to be refilled, so that isn't a problem. On the whole I am really happy with it, which has surprised me! My grout has come up brilliantly and I am already thinking of other areas I can use it. As I said before the only negatives are the fact that it doesn't last that long before it needs refilling, but for the price and the fact it is only a handheld I think this is a small price to pay for how easy it is to use and store out of the way. The only other negative I have is it does produce ALOT of water during use, but if you take a big towel around with you to mop it up it's not an problem. I think this handheld is a great choice if you are not always steam cleaning and only want to use it on hard floors and not carpets. Just over the weekend I tried to clean the wire rack of my grill which had never been cleaned for 11 years. I found the carbon and grease deposits not easy to clean with steam and had to use a knife as well to clean it off. So I was not convinced from what is claimed. Maybe I don't know how to use it properly. The water reservoir I found too small. When the long hose is connected the body of the unit is unstable on worktop. I have yet to try to clean my car wheels with it. Hope this feedback helps. **Q: Can you use this on inside of electric oven alot of people have said you carnt with other makes** A: Yes, you CAN use it in the electric oven. Steam from this is no different from steam from your whatever ingredients you choose casserole. The oven's power supply is nowhere near the inside of the oven so there is no danger of electrocution. Plus the safety conscious person will isolate the cooker from the power supply, as in put the power switch on the wall box to OFF. **Q: Does it have an attachment with a cloth that would enable to clean bathroom tiles?** A: No but why not just wrap a microfibre cloth around one of the nozzles? Only used it for the cooker, countertops and some upholstery andso far and it hasn’t disappointed me. Oh, to have the stainless steel cooker streak free with minimal effort! About it being slippery, I rest it on a silicone pot holder-problem solved! As for steam production and how hot it is, I can only say that it is perfect for me.
