It is very loud out of the box, i had to tweak the fan setting to let them run at 60% ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing thermals, similar fan volume to other coolers and very well priced. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 August 2017* Has my CPU sitting at around 18-20c normal and 35-40c stressed. This is with a Ryzen 1700 overclocked to 3.9MHz at 1.3 volts.I've seen in some reviews that they've noted the fans are loud. This is definitely NOT the case, it's pretty much on par with my previous Corsair h100i. In fact I'd say that since it keeps temperatures very low compared to the Corsair (which I've tested on my new rig also) the fans normally run at a lower RPM so it's quieter for day-to-day use (including gaming).The Frostflow was also very easy to install and came with it's own thermal paste tube as opposed to having it already applied to the unit which is a nice touch. One tip though- if you plug the fan connectors (4 pin) into any 3 pin slots (like the fan controller probably is) the fans will run at full speed constantly.
