The item took around a month to arrive (since is shipped from Hong Kong). Since I was away when it arrived, I didn't have the opportunity to use it. I've just opened the packaging about 10 minutes ago hoping to use the adapter straight away.I plugged in my own HDMI cable into the adapter. It was a very tight fit (not a snug fit- a VERY tight fit) and had to use pliers to pull it off. I then plugged the other end of the HDMI cable into my TV and the adapter to my laptop. I moved the cable (because it was flopping around) and the micro HDMI bit just bent. I would say I was surprised but I really wasn’t, the number of reviews saying this product is flimsy is completely justified.Buy at your own risk, you might not have the same issues as me, but this was my experience of using this adapter.(Note to self: a few quid extra won’t leave you with a 4 week wait and an adapter you can’t even use). ### ⭐ Dissapointing *by H***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 December 2014* The micro adapter looked solid enough, and the connection was fine, but when we had finished using it and went to remove it from our kindle it broke.
