Using a paper towel and white t-shirt as diffusers in front of them, I get acceptable lighting. Now keep in mind that they really aren't designed for such a task, but the biggest benefit is that they don't heat very much, certainly not like their tungsten equivalents. I was able to keep a t-shirt draped directly across the front without much heating for a couple of hours (however, for safety reasons, I still wouldn't recommend doing this.... I was within 5 feet of the set up and closely watching the entire time). If I had one con to say, it would be that the amount of lighting provided still isn't quite enough for video/ photos. I don't see them being any problem as work lights, however, which I'll probably be using them for occasionally too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price! physically very large. *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 21, 2018* This was physically much larger than I expected. It is quite bright though. I am using in my garage where the door prevents installation of a standard hanging shop light. The mounting bracket actually came bent, but I didn't care enough to have it replaced. The cord is thick and the switch is helpful. I will end up hardwiring this though. Probably will buy another.
