Review: O m g love it ! - I have cups etc ! But waited to get this pot , its fantastic !!!!! I did a lot of research for a few years actually to get this pot as it’s definitely an investment. I got the large size as a hungry partner loves his food !!!!! So washed cold water n a little washing liquid Oiled slightly stirring it around pot on a low heat ! Wipe out with kitchen roll . This pot is designed for low to medium heat heat cooking ! I have a full induction , i only have it on 2/3 pends what your cooking ! My word it Cooke’s beautifully , from any meat veg etc i tried , sorry no offence to u veggies n vegans . Cooking in the oven takes half the time . Yes extremely heavy ? Him indoors lifts it for me , so if u have disabilities , think twice ! About it The handles do get hot . The lid is heavy but lovely n does it job with steaming . Oh i have the ocean colour which is gorgeous . It’s is non -stick , just remember to cold wash , then swirl oil on low heat round it n then cool n wipe .pls remember to use silicone utensils , NOT METAL with it . To clean , its so easy , empty left over out , THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT LEAVE TO COOL DOWN BEFORE DOING ANYTHING TO IT ! WIPE WITH A KITCHEN ROLL OR CLOTH , CLEAN WITH BIT OF WASHING N COLD WATER , YES IT SHOULD JUST COME OFF IF NOT SOAK IN WARM WATER FOR A WHILE N USE JUST A SPONGE . I have been cooking every meal in it as its so versatile. It can be used on the hob and then transferred to the oven and you can even put it in the fridge if you have leftovers. The enamel resists food sticking to it and I found it easy to clean after use with a none abrasive sponge. The cast iron absorbs the heat and distributes it evenly, so you don't end up with hot spots. I went for the 28cm and I'd say it was the ideal size for a family of 3-4. Its also the perfect size for a standard 60cm wide oven/fridge, with enough room either side to hold the handles. There is loads of room inside for sweating down onions etc and the tall sides stop any bits escaping when stirring. The quality is outstanding as is to be expected for this price point. The lid is a perfect fit and holds in the steam well. Its also a lot lighter than cheaper cast iron casserole dishes, while still being thick enough to retain heat. Overall the fit and finish is superb and it also looks fantastic in the matte black I chose. Overall I am over the moon with this casserole dish and can see myself using this for many years. Its expensive, but I feel its worth it for the quality of the product and the lifetime warranty.

I have cups etc ! But waited to get this pot , its fantastic !!!!! I did a lot of research for a few years actually to get this pot as it’s definitely an investment. I recently purchased the Le Creuset 28cm Dutch Oven, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The delivery was excellent, fast, secure, and the item was incredibly well-packaged, arriving in perfect condition. This Dutch oven is truly a universal piece of cookware. It’s perfect for everything from slow-cooked stews, curries, and soups to baking crusty bread or roasting a chicken. I’ve already used it to braise beef short ribs, make a rich tomato-based sauce, and even tried no-knead bread, each time, the results were fantastic. The even heat distribution and heat retention are unmatched. It works flawlessly on both the stovetop and in the oven, and the enamel interior means food doesn’t stick easily, making it ideal for browning meats before simmering. The 28cm size is generous enough to feed a family or meal prep in batches, without being unwieldy or difficult to handle. Care Tips: This pot does require a bit of mindful care to keep it in top condition. I always use wooden or silicone utensils to avoid damaging the enamel. It’s best to avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., cold water on a hot pot), and while it’s dishwasher safe, I find that hand washing preserves the finish much better in the long run. Avoid using harsh scourers or abrasive cleaners, warm soapy water and a soft sponge do the trick. If you’re serious about cooking or just want to invest in one pot that can do it all and last for years (even decades), I can’t recommend this enough. It’s not just functional, it’s beautiful, too.
