When you wet the pad and wrap the anchor, it turns into a paste-like consistency. I would definitely recommend not wearing nice clothes and having a paper towel handy when using this. The packaging says to let the product dry for 3 minutes before putting the screw back in, but I waited for about 15 minutes to give a little extra time just in case.
