No it is a clear gel so you can see where your shaving, my husband says it’s brilliant and better than anything he has tried from the shops .

What is the scent like?

It's pretty much odourless. Good gel, though.

My barber uses this product but says its just to sharpen beard lines its not ideal for full shave or clean shaving

It depends on the type of razor you use. If it’s a common Gillette or similar, it’s ok, but if you use double edge razors like I do, I would not suggest using this product. No foam and the gel tends to dry out fast and become this sticky layer.
