We programmed in all the required telephone numbers, only just two on M1 and M2, the rest recall from one key on the number pad - press and hold. It does not easily get messed up by inadvertently 'overprogramming'.Thank God. BUT, now discovered, each handset has to be individually loaded with the numbers, unlike the Panasonic which stored it in the base ??.Not a problem really, we will do the bedroom phone next visit. On first switch on they are ready to go as they come ready 'Dect paired'. I need to read the book again to see if I can make it answer on pickup AND go straight to 'speaker phone'. The charging contacts seem to work solidly, doing all that they are supposed to do. One make we tried from Asda was hopeless in this respect, and was not backlight, but on the box it was!
