Once you've oiled your hand, submerge your whole hand keeping the fingers seperated, lift it out let it harden slightly submerge again. The idea is to let the wax build up and then to keep that heat in, wrap your hand in kitchen foil and wrap in a towel. Leave for about 10 mins max and to remove put your fingers around the wrist and it should slide off like a glove, thats the reason you apply to oil. I would then put on some of those white cotton gloves that you can buy from places like boots, this will keep the heat there, but also soften and moisture your skin. Hope thats helpful. I bought this wax to use in a heater I recently bought, I brush it onto my wrists, hands/fingers, until I have several layers and then wrap my hand in a warm towel (to keep the heat in longer) and relax for a while. It does take ages to melt in the microwave, so it would probably do better in a specialist wax melter or even in a saucepan on the cooker, assuming you can have a dedicated saucepan for it. Once melted, not not super hot, I dipped my hands in this and then put polythene bags over, then burrowed them in a warm towel. The wax just peels off when it is cool, and could probably be used again for the same person but I discarded mine.
