It offers very good protection against knocks, falling over, rain etc. I ordered the tenor size for a standard tenor with a slotted headstock. It just works, but I have to put the headstock in first and then place the right side of the bag over the bottom end of the ukulele. I would like to have a few more mm to fit it in easier.I don't travel with this uke very often, so the instrument should stay ok in the case inside of the house. and the bag should not suffer from extra wear and tear due to the pressure from the wooden headstock. The tuners do have enough room, as have the sides and the top.The bag has a roomy outside pocket for your extra strings, tuner, capo, and even a smaller tablet (8inch). There were some loose threads here and there, which ideally would have been cut off.
