I was getting fed up of fiddling around with sacks of food, and the size of these boxes were the ideal size for me to stick one in the kitchen cupboard with all the other doggy bits and pieces. The scoop provided, which is nicely housed on the underside of the lid, is the right size for my dogs food portions. The lid seals nicely and the container is of a sturdy quality.The other box is by the back door for filling the bird feeders. I was fed up of trying to get my gardman seed dispensing tube stuck in seed bags and spilling seed before getting outside. This is wide enough for the job.My main concern was the lid seal looking quite fragile, but after using these for a few weeks, I have had no issues.If i were to get different wild bird seeds, I wouldn't hesitate buying more. The box is a lot smaller then I expected, I guess it didn't occur to me that 12.5kg of fish food is ALOT less then guinea pig food. However, it comes with a really handy scoop that fits into the lid and clicks shut.
