After ensuring power to the cooker was switched off, I removed the screws holding on the rear oven liner and lifted it out to reveal the element which had a large hole burnt through it. Testing for resistance with a multimeter confirmed that the original element had failed to open circuit. The wiring pulls through the back of the oven just enough to disconnect the element and it takes care to do this without damaging the cables or connectors. I ordered this product after checking it was compatible with the cooker model and it arrived quickly. The product matched the original perfectly so was straightforward to install by reversing the removal process. The quality appears good and the element works well.
