However, the lampshade, WHICH IS SOLD TOGETHER WITH the lamp base, is TOO BIG and slides off the stick!I was hoping to have the lamp ready in situ after arrival (as a surprise for my daughter) but am now having to source a lampshade circular inner in order for the lampshade to fit the stick which it was bought with......not impressed really, particularly as the whole point of buying the shade and stick suggests they are compatible.... ### ⭐⭐⭐ Ring too big and 'goldish' thread *by R***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 June 2017* This shade has a slightly gold thread through it and a sheen so I wouldn't call it 'white' as described - saying that, it looks nice. However the ring is much larger than expected and didn't fit any of the lamps I purchased it for.
