I thought the problem might be that the screws hadn't been tightened properly as the plate was a lot looser than the other side. I tightened them down, being careful not to over tighten.This did help insofar as it attached more positively and without being wobbly when attached.It did not, however, solve the issue of detachment.For medical reasons I need to record my sleep patterns, a bit difficult when the strap detaches by itself overnight.I'm wary of wearing my fit2 during the day in case this happens at other times and I lose itI would not recommend buying this item and am returning mine. ### ⭐ Doesn't work. Being a very similar style to the last one I expected this strap to be an upgrade as it has the metal catches which I thought would provide a secure anchor to my gear fit 2. I've been wearing it about 2 days and the clasp has unhooked from the watch repeatedly(At least 10 times). The first time I didn't even notice. Luckily it had dropped off in the car else I wouldn't just be disappointed in this product, I would be infuriated! The little band for holding the excess strap has already snapped off and the strap itself is shorter than my previous and feels cheaper in quality. The strap keeps coming undone from the watch itself and am having to catch it before it hits the floor.
