I sprayed my Plants just as leaves appeared only once result no Mildew and a good crop of Gooseberries. So when I received it and opened the package I was surprised. Its a paper package so once opened--difficult to store unless you transfer it over to something else. Not ideal for me. The packaging and delivery was all good but I was expecting more. Maybe my fault for not checking closer to the size of the item. The instructions are in Spanish.** A: This fungicide is based on aluminium phosphite (a form of phosphate) which also acts as a growth stimulant. It is effective against what are called oomycete fungi such as downy mildew and diseases caused by Phytophora such as potato blight and a wide range of other diseases. It will not be effective on powdery mildew or rose black spot because these are caused by true fungi (google the difference between downy and powdery mildew if not sure). Use 2.5-3g per litre to make the spray (easiest to make up a 10x solution with 30g in 100ml and then use 2 teaspoons (10ml) per litre).
