## Overview

The 120mm Acousti Fan Anti-vibration Fan Gaskets are designed to provide superior noise reduction and vibration dampening for your cooling fans. With a thickness of 2.5mm, these gaskets are compatible with virtually all 120mm case cooling fans and come with unique screws and soft silicone washers for easy installation.

We also stock these gaskets in packs of 32; please see: 32 Fan Gaskets OEM packs These super-soft silicone fan gaskets are designed to dramatically reduce the vibration from any PC or server case cooling fans. The 60 and 70mm gaskets are 1.5mm thick; and the larger sizes are 2.5mm thick. Included with each gasket are silicone washers and anti-vibration screws. These screws feature a thread design which prevents the shank touching the fan and vibrations being transmitted and amplified through to the chassis.These gaskets are suitable for the vast majority of case designs and fan combinations; as they fit standard fan mounting holes. Slightly lengthened (12mm thread) fan mounting screws are supplied with the fan gaskets and washers. These gaskets can be used with standard PC cooling fans; and not just with AcoustiFan quiet case fans. Note: Do not use these gaskets in very high temperature locations inside a PC/Server such as attached to CPU or GPU heat sinks!Fitting instructionsFit the fan gasket onto the outside of the fan housing (it will stay on the fan) Position the fan and gasket together against the inside of the case; so that the four mounting holes in the fan and gasket line up to the mounting holes in the case side Locate the four silicone washers and screws; and fit the washers against the case side; each secured by a screw Tighten the screws enough to very slightly compress the silicone rubber. Do not overtighten.

And it's as useful as a chocolate fire guard the rubber is to thin no strength so when it's attach to a fan it just compresses like it didn't exist

    Effective, but fiddly

Certainly reduces a lot of noise through vibration, but is a little fiddly when getting the fan to sit right on the rubber layer. Also, when screwing the screws in, the rubber washers get a little squashed and stretched, but this can be avoided with a bit more care.Decent product at a good price. Waiting on my 92mm gasket to arrive to get rid of the noise in my case!
