Review: Comfortable but Gel Cushion is Problematic - I bought this because being on my feet all day with a bunion was causing a lot of pain. Overall, it is very nice. For the most part is is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust the size to fit your foot. It has greatly reduced the pain in my foot. However, the gel cushion is a problem. It rubs against my foot causing pain and blisters. If it was covered in a soft fabric to prevent the rubbing this would get 5 stars. Have not been using long enough to know if it will help straighten out my toe and shrink the bunion.

**Q: Can I wear during work?**
A: We cannot recommend that our Dr. Scholl's Bunion Relief & Toe Corrector be worn in shoes or during the walking, standing and sitting that you may engage in during work.  This product is designed to remove pressure from your bunion and help ease the deflection of the toes that leads to the bunion discomfort.  During the day and especially with shoes, we would recommend that you try our bunion cushions and then use and follow the directions for our Bunion Relief & Toe Corrector product for nighttime use.

**Q: I have a small foot, women’s size 6. Will this be too big?**
A: It’s not for me and I wear a size 6 women’s shoe.

I bought this because being on my feet all day with a bunion was causing a lot of pain. Overall, it is very nice. For the most part is is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust the size to fit your foot. It has greatly reduced the pain in my foot. However, the gel cushion is a problem. It rubs against my foot causing pain and blisters. If it was covered in a soft fabric to prevent the rubbing this would get 5 stars. Have not been using long enough to know if it will help straighten out my toe and shrink the bunion.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleased so far, worth the price

I have a small bunion that I noticed starting last year or so. Not very painful yet, but definitely starting to cause problems. I decided to try this solely because it is Dr Scholls, because I trust the brand enough to spend $15-20. These are very comfortable, much more so than the photo looks. The instructions are quite easy to understand, and the splint itself is easy to figure out. Very easy to adjust to fit. They seem very sturdy and well made, and I would be very surprised if they fall apart soon. The quality of the materials is very good, and they are very well made. No scratchy stitching or labels, and definitely no jagged velcro. I can feel the ligaments stretching when wearing it, and the information guide does explain that it can be uncomfortable at first because of this gentle stretching. For this reason it advises to start with 30 min at a time and work up to no more than 8 hours. For me, I can tolerate this “stretching feeling” for about an hour here at the beginning. Not sure it can reverse anything already happening, but definitely seems like it can keep things from getting worse at the very least.
