I wanted to use it as "cell activator" and it did work somewhat mixed with water but not as well as I had hoped. I'm going to experiment as see if it can produce a better result. Amsterdam makes good quality creamy and bright paints and the white one isn't an exception. So I invested in this tub as I have recently started using this brand of paints in other colours and could feel the difference in quality. This is far superior to what I was previously using and mixing well with other paints even on the substrate itself. A lovely thick buttery consistency and at the time I bought mine, good value too, though I see it has gone up a fair bit in a matter of days. The container is a good size and dispenses the paint well which my previous one didn't, making a right mess. I'm pretty sure this particular paint doesn't have a medium in it. I own several Amsterdam paints, I mix my paints. Depending on what your painting, cup pour, dirty pour and so on, I mix.
