I bought this a few months ago for our trip to the DR. Worked great in the pool and ocean. Fast forward a month, I took a trip to Arkansas for a bachelor party. One of the events was kayaking down a river for 8 hours. It was shallow for the most part, 2-5 ft deep. I used this case so I could monitor work stuff and any potential emergencies. Along the way my kayak tipped, lost the phone in the river. 2 days later I get an alert that my phone was found. Eventually got my phone back. After 48 hours of the phone sitting in 4-5 ft of water in the river, the phone was found and still in perfect condition. This case kept the water out and protected it. The river had high traffic, the only damage was a few scratches to the screen of the case. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a tough water proof case.

I got my daughter an iPhone for communication and safety so knowing her I knew I needed a VERY durable case. I took a chance with this case and here we are 1/2025 and it is still keeping her phone safe !

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great for snorkeling

I was skeptical based on the varied reviews I found here but figured for $20 it was worth a try. I did the paper towel test before using it for real and the paper towel stayed bone dry. Once I got to Hawaii, I popped my phone in the case and dove into the ocean! Over the course of 5 days, swimming for at least an hour each day, my phone remained totally dry and I got some good pictures from under water. Sadly, the visibility on the days I was snorkeling wasn't the best, but the case let me accurately capture what I was seeing underwater.Initially I was thinking that I'd just put the phone in the case only while I was swimming, but I found that the case isn't much more bulky than the case I normally keep my phone in so I ended up just leaving it in this case for my entire trip. I didn't find the cover on the screen to impede the responsiveness of the phone at all when I wasn't in the water (when the screen is wet, it's a pain because the screen doesn't respond well with water on it, regardless of if it's in a case or not). I had worried that the repeated opening and closing of the bottom hatch to access the lightning port might wear the seals out and let water in, but that never happened.One note I'll make, I didn't use the phone to make phone calls while it was in the case. I use bluetooth headphones when making calls so if there was any degradation of sound quality due to this case (as others have reported) this isn't an issue for my use case. My main goals with this case was to keep my phone dry and to let me take decent quality photos underwater. It accomplished both those goals like a champ so I'm a happy customer.The one small negative is that I'd prefer a more secure wrist strap solution. I think my ideal would be something that cinched more securely around my wrist. There were times when I was navigating in the water with my arms only and I was a little worried that if the phone slipped out of my hands that it'd easily slip off my wrist because the lanyard is so loose. But I found the case to have good grip and I never dropped my phone, thankfully. I'll probably look for an alternative wrist lanyard the next time I go out, since I tend to snorkel in areas where it sometimes gets pretty deep.
