Those earrings just don't seem to be made to a very high quality and backs slip off easily.Having a supply of these is very useful indeed. I have found them to be a good fit and sometimes use these instead of the original backs.If you also have difficulty with traditional butterfly backs (If those fingers aren't as nimble as the used to be!), or you are putting earrings into someone else's ear, then you may find these helpful too. I was wrong. The metal will touch your skin. So, if you are looking for an easy to grip large earring back this would be ideal for you, if you have sensitive skin be aware that the plastic does not shield you from the metal.
