Review: So much better than the cheaper wheeled types - Everything about these drawer runners shouts quality. They are well designed and made, and so much sturdier than the cheaper wheeled types. The fitting instructions on the packaging (printed at about the size of a matchbox) are a joke, but I found the runners easier to fit than expected. They need a fair amount of horizontal space each side, as they are quite thick - and I had to take a wood chisel to carve a slot each side of the drawer to get them in. You do need to do a lot of measuring and checking, and a spirit level is a must. I like the little plastic tabs that allow you to pull out the drawer completely. These enable the two runner elements to be separated and fitted independently on each side - making installation a one-man job. The runners are incredibly smooth in use on a heavy cutlery drawer.

**Q: Can you please tell me the sizes of all the runners when closed and open? I am not sure which will suit the job i need it for. Thanks**
A: There are several sizes available. The listed sizes are the closed length. When they are open, the length is double the closed size. I have the 55cm version, so it's 55cm closed; 110cm open. Sorry for the delay in replying, I've been on holiday, so I've only just picked this up

**Q: How easy are these to align etc when fitting?**
A: very. i just used the existing screws from the previous sliders. 
you might need to sand a bit off the shelf or add some thick tape as a spacer to deal with any difference in thickness.

**Q: How many pairs in a box?**
A: One pair ( two runners ) , enough for one drawer

**Q: If these were laid flat rather than upright would they still be load bearing? I want to use them in a camper van to hold a kitchen unit.**
A: im not sure that they would be as strong laid flat , ive used them sideways for a small freezer and they work great

Overall very good. I used it for my big drawers for pots and pans. Very smooth now to open the drawer. Only gripe is that there are no instructions included with the hinges so you have to work out how to install the them yourself. The images on the amazon site are however a good guide. Pity they dont supply them as printed instructions with the product. But overall they very good.
