It works great. Hooks charge decently well. However if it is bigger lint, it won't work especially on Cashmere. Where lint tend to be larger and softer. Needless to say, my error as the white scarf now had tons of red pills attached to it, which did not come out when washed again separately and dried. Tried removing the pills by hand- but it would have taken me hours. Received this product yesterday. Went to work using it on my white scarf. LOVED IT. It came ready to use. I found the best way was to stretch sections of the scarf really tight on a flat surface, and use the Pill Removed to glide over the scarf as a kind of moderate pace and it worked great! My scarf is now wearable again, with no red pills! I did have to empty the removed pill collection bin 4 times, but that was each, as the top to that area easily opens and they even include a small tool to help get all the removed pills out, then the top is very easy to put back on.
