Designed for dogs that pull on the lead, like our Susi who is a featured model. One Size Only which will fit most Small ( not miniature) Medium, Large & Giant breed dogs. The Susi is made of Softex – a super soft, strong, comfortable webbing. Softex is gentle on your hands and kind to the dog’s nose. Hand made here in Cornwall by Creature Comforts. When first using the Susi we would recommend you hold a treat in your hand while you pop the 2 loops over the dog’s nose. Then pull the loop with the ring over the dog’s head (please see the photos at the top of the page). Next slide the stopper down the lead towards the ring to prevent the Susi Lead becoming too loose. The lead length is difficult to gauge as this will fit most dogs of various breeds & sizes but with our Susi there is about 4ft of lead. The 2 loops will tighten when your dog pulls and the action is gentle and from the side. It won’t pull your dog’s head around and it won’t ride up either. Use gentle actions to control the dog and do not use any force whatsoever. As most people walk their dogs on their left hand side the Susi Lead is designed to walk your dog on the left. However, if you walk your dog on your right hand side, do send us a message, as we can easily get one made up in a few days and listed for you. I have a friend who is a boxer crossed with a husky and she pulls, I'm having physio on my right arm because of this and was at my wits end. I saw this and thought iv got nothing to loss. So it arrived and Meg walked me to the park in her usual way, after five minuets I put this on her, it was a trying ten minuets as she was not impressed, she did cartwheels, we walked round and praised her for being good. She walks next to me she is not pulling. I'm sooooo happy. I don't do reviews, but I had to share this, as its saved are friendship. If your like me and don't no what to do next. We've used a similar lead with our other dog, but this one is kinder on the hands being made of softex. We have strong german shepherds, and it is easy to hold your ground using this lead if they see something to chase. It also doesn't catch our dog's long hair in the cross over like the other one did when we tried it. Have recommended this to other owners of pulling dogs.
