As a first game it works perfectly, there's learning about turn taking and the only thing you need to understand is colour matching. The game lasts under 10 minutes which is useful as you can quickly play again if someone is sad that they didn't win. The brilliant thing about this game though is that it has the added element of betting on which worm will pop out first so the game isn't pure luck and children can start to learn (very very simple!) strategy. This game works for children from 3 to 7 years old, and makes a great birthday present for a 3 or 4 year old to get their game collection started.
