I suspect if you left it on its side, any liquid inside would seep out. **Q: Is the lid BPA?** A: No. It says on the lid that it doesn’t contain any BPA at all. **Q: is this pyrix dish oven friendly?** A: As far as I know all Pyrex can go in the oven I haven’t tried this with the jug myself. **Q: what is this bowl diameter? is the bottom inside the bowl flat or curved? please help** A: It’s exactly the same shape as any Pyrex bowl, it’s curved down to the bottom with a flat bit for it to sit on. It’s 21 cms , 8.5 ins across the top.
